2023 commencement time changed to evening

On Feb. 6, the Daily Titan informed the IU South Bend community that the 2023 commencement ceremony, which was previously scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, had been moved to 6 p.m.

Tragedy strikes MSU: 1.5 mass shootings per day in 2023

On Feb. 13, a gunman entered the campus of Michigan State University Lansing and killed Alexandria Verner, Brian Fraser and another victim whose family requested their name not be publicized. Five other students were wounded.

Food Truck Fridays come to campus

This semester, IU South Bend has started Food Truck Fridays. The idea was originally presented by the Student Government Association to the administration in discussions about improving food choices on campus. It is also a great way to get together with friends on a Friday.

Both of them are unique in their own ways but are very similar in atmosphere. I went to the Elkhart one, which is at 113 E Lexington Ave.
