Construction projects this semester in Northside have resulted in closures of some areas and relocation of the mailroom. On Dec. 18, 2024, an announcement in the Daily Titan let students and faculty know that upgrades were planned to upgrade the building’s lighting and climate control and that the East Lounge (NS018), the practice rooms (NS024 suites), the campus auditorium and the Upstage Theater would be closed or restricted. The projects began on Jan. 23. 

The restrooms in the area are also closed, and Door 19 is not usable. Students and faculty are advised to use Door 20, with wheelchair-accessible entrances at Doors 11 and 12, located at the mall entrance and canopy by Greenlawn yard. 

The mailroom will also move from Northside to the Education and Arts building, room 1098. Facilities staff have asked that any changes to mail locations and times be made after Feb. 17. If students or faculty are expecting any large packages or want to check on the status of their mail, they can contact the mailroom at 574-520-4250.
