Hello, my name is Ashley Bergeron, and I’m so excited to be working for the Preface this semester. I joined the Preface because I love to write and want to get the opportunity to write more.
I’m a sophomore majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in East Asian Studies. I’m studying to become a veterinarian in the future. To be completely honest, I love to work with animals, so any job that involves animals would make me happy. If that doesn’t work out, I’d like to be an obstetrician/gynecologist.
The Preface isn’t the only student organization I’m a part of. I’m also a member of the Queer Straight Alliance (QSA), Japanese Club, Botany Club, Bio-Chemistry Club, Physics Club and Gamer’s Guild. I can’t go to every meeting or attend every event, but I try my best.
I was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. I currently live with my grandparents, my brother, my dad and my uncle. We have a cat named Bogart and 7 chickens. In the photo, I’m with my boyfriend’s dog, Hoshi.
In my spare time, I like to look at bugs, play video games, cook, read and make my best attempt at photography. I can’t wait to get around campus and meet more people.
