Feb. 15 was senior night for your Titan basketball teams and their last home game. The men’s team won 72-69, honoring seniors Shawn Brown, Jylen Petty, Deshon Burnett and Quentez Columbus. The Titans had some outstanding players this game, including Columbus and Petty with 16 and 15 points, and junior Nick Mullen, who finished with 14 points. 

The women’s team won 65-57, celebrating seniors Sullivan Kessler, Amaya Rufus and Jazmen Watts. With only five minutes left in the game, it was tied 55-55 but the Titans were able to score 10 points to seal the win. 

Three women showed out with double-digit points: freshman Keylee Hudson with 17, Watts with 15 and Tenleigh Phelps with 14. 

Both teams hit the road today, Feb. 19, to Bourbonnais, Illinois to take on the Olivet Nazarene Tigers, with the women’s team playing at 6:30 p.m., followed by the men’s team at 8:30 p.m.
