With the semester coming to an end, let’s talk about some more adoptable cuties. This week’s pets are Echo and Rufus.
Rufus
Rufus is a domestic shorthair cat with grey and white patches. His birthday is Sept. 1, 2020. He came to the rescue with inflamed paw pads, and he is feeling better, but his paw pads will be more puffy than normal. He loves to eat wet food and play. One of his favorite activities at the shelter is to stretch his legs around outside of his cage. He is alright with other cats. His comfort with young children and dogs is unknown. However, Rufus is a chill guy and would probably be fine if you introduce him slowly. His adoption fee is $75.

Echo // Michael Smith
GIVE ME THAT BALL. Echo loves to play and will play for hours. After playing, he will cuddle on your lap.
Echo
Echo is a boxer and terrier mix whose birthday is Feb. 24, 2023, so he is almost two years old! He does great with cats and children. He can be a little rough playing with other dogs, but he is working on being gentler. Speaking of playing, Echo LOVES to play. His favorite type of toy is a ball, and he could fetch for hours. He will tear up soft toys. He is currently on a trial to see what he is allergic to, as he breaks out into hives. His adoption fee is $250.
