A late-night craving for warm cookies might now be a more easily solved problem for the baking challenged.

Insomnia Cookies has just recently opened a new, South Bend location. Located at 2130 South Bend Avenue, it is only a short ten-minute drive from the campus of IU South Bend. Despite the short drive, the IU South Bend campus currently lies outside of their delivery area. They deliver predominantly to the University of Notre Dame and the surrounding area.

It is currently unknown whether or not they will expand their delivery area to include the IU South Bend campus.

With store hours between 11-3 a.m. on weekends, and 9-3 a.m. through the work week, cookies become readily available for those needing some sugar between work or classes, or just as a warm comfort.

Delivery hours for the shop are as late as 3 a.m., for those who currently live in the delivery area.

According to an article published on the South Bend Tribune’s website, on Sept. 24, 2018, by Mary Shown, “Insomnia Cookies was created 15 years ago by then-University of Pennsylvania student Seth Berkowitz. Now, the company has more than 135 locations nationwide, with four in Indiana at West Lafayette, Muncie, Terre Haute, and Broad Ripple near Indianapolis.”

More information may be found at InsomniaCookies.com.
