On Nov. 3, the Student Government Association (SGA) met to discuss funding requests and reports and to announce the resignation of Former Treasurer Ian Greaves.
It’s been a few issues of The Preface since you heard about what the Student Government Association has been up to, and we’re sure you’ve been anxiously awaiting some new coverage. Let’s get into it.
Bio-Chem Club President and Treasurer Joel Rael, who is also an SGA senator, presented a funding request of $136.59. This would reimburse the cost of refreshments for the club’s Oct. 20 event featuring Molly Fox, an IU South Bend graduate attending IU Dental School, who discussed the process of applying to dental school and shared her experience. Senator Rael abstained, and the senate funded the request in full.
