Reigning Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) champions IU South Bend Titans are picking up right where they left off, starting this season 6-0. The Titans went 2-0 last week, beating the Bethel University Pilots on Nov. 15 with a score of 88-65 and the University of Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines on Nov. 11 with a score of 98-50.

On Nov. 8, Holy Cross College hosted its annual CCAC-Crossroads Challenge where IU South Bend’s men’s basketball team squared off against their cross-town rivals, the Bethel University Pilots. The Titans would drop a close one 76-73.

Across the country, there has been a movement towards more adaptive sports programs. Here in South Bend, you may not have known that we have our own adaptive team: the River City Rollers. The Rollers are a wheelchair basketball team based out of South Bend open for anyone to join. They get together on Thursdays and Sundays at the SAC here at IU South Bend.

Titans dancing toward the start of the 2023-2024 basketball season

IU South Bend men’s basketball kicks off soon. Before they do, it's important to know who your 2023-2024 Titans are. Last season, the Titans finished the season 23-9 with a 15-5 CCAC (Chicagoland Collegiate Athletics Conference)  record. The Titans would go on to finish in fourth place in the CCAC. However, the Titans basketball team has a thing for going dancing, as they were able to win the CCAC tournament.
