Crafts at the CUBE

Students pick out supplies to make DIY rain sticks and kaleidoscopes at the Center for Understanding, Belonging and Experiences on April 22. The crafts were part of the CUBE’s Neurodiversity Awareness Month celebration, where students received sensory bags with fidget toys and information sheets about various types of neurodivergence, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and learning disabilities. April has long been recognized as Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month, but some have begun to expand its scope under the umbrella of Neurodiversity Celebration or Awareness Month.
