Congratulations to IU South Bend Men’s Golf team who placed runner up at the 2017 Troll Classic at the Calumet Country Club. Three of the six boys who competed placed in the top 10. Freshman Kobe Freshwater shot five-over for a score of 76, tying for fourth out of 48 collegiate golfers. The other two golfers were Junior Payton Grubbs who shot six over par with a 77 and tied for sixth, and senior John Stack with a score 78 to tie for ninth.
The Women’s Golf team placed fourth out of five teams in the classic, with two freshman placing in the top 10. Freshman Zoie Adams placed seventh with a score of 95 while Freshman Madison Gayar tied for eighth with a score of 96.
All individual and team scores are as followed below. The Titans next matchup is October 13th and 14th at the IU Kokomo Fall Invite.
