“I never follow through with them, so I didn’t make one. It’s easier to not break promises if you don’t make them,” said Tony M., a sophomore majoring in new media.

“Why does it have to be the new year to start something? Just do it,” said Lindsay Wilson, a senior majoring in psychology.

“It’s an old tradition, and kids of our generation don’t really deal with tradition very well,” said David Eling, a junior majoring in computer science.

“I didn’t really bother with one this year. I have things that I want to implement this year, but nothing formal,” said Ruth Myers, a junior majoring in interpersonal communications.
