The IU South Bend Honors Program is teaming up with different organizations to put on the Red and White Dance this year. This dance will be open to all IU South Bend students on Feb. 10 in The Grill at 8 p.m. This Valentine’s Day dance will be sure to add some fun to your Valentine’s Day plans.

Make sure to RSVP on Titan Atlas as soon as possible, because there is a 200-person limit to this event. Students will have an opportunity to bring one guest from outside of the IU South Bend community. Formal wear is encouraged for this event. This can also be counted as an honors event for credit if you are a member of the Honors Program.

“I’ve been in a lot of the different committees and worked with a bunch of the different clubs that are collaborating,” Emilee Edmonds, Honors Program President, stated. “So I am really excited for what we are going to produce.”

There will be light refreshments and a DJ to provide live entertainment.

“This dance throws back to high school,” Jordan Keeley, Honors Program Vice President, said. “Everyone gets to dress up and look super cute, and wear those dresses you’ve stuffed in your closet, so I think that’s very exciting.”

This dance is aimed for IU South Bend students to come and have a good time whether they have a date, or a group of friends or to just fly solo.
