Welcome to another installment of Titan Tails! We are bringing you bi-weekly installments of dogs or cats each month. These fur babies can be found at the St. Joseph Humane Society. November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month, so we would love to spotlight one of our lovely seniors, Oreo!
O-R-E-O Ooooooreo! Much like the cookie, everyone who meets Oreo instantly falls in love. Oreo is a 10.5-year-old boy who was surrendered to the Humane Society when he began having litter box issues.
He had been declawed, and like most declawed cats, he requires the use of special litter that is less painful for his little paws. Since switching to the proper litter, Oreo has not had any issues! He is a total sweetheart and will be more than happy to curl up in a spot of sunshine.
Oreo loves giving kisses and gets along well with other cats. He could be the sweet addition your family has been looking for! Apply now to adopt Oreo, or stop by to meet him between Mon. and Sat. from 2-4:30 p.m.
The St. Joseph Humane Society is also collecting donations to build a medical fund for senior pets.
“Often senior pets require more care when they come to us than the average shelter animal, and we hope to use these funds to ensure they are all as happy and healthy as possible! People can donate to this fund using the link https://www.mightycause.com/story/Silverpawsfund!” Sarah from St. Joseph Humane Society Outreach said.
Titans are welcome to stop by and meet this sweet boy looking for his Fur-ever home! You can also apply to adopt Oreo here: https://humanesocietystjc.org/adopt/apply-to-adopt/ .
