Congratulations, seniors, you are moving up in this world! While the semester is coming to a close and thoughts of graduation and future aspirations cloud your mind, one important thing you may not have thought about is saving your information on your IU Google Drive to a safer location.

Upon graduation, all seniors’ IU Google accounts will be deleted, so it is important for students to download their work, save it to Microsoft OneDrive or move it onto a flash drive. Although there is not a specific deadline at this time, students are recommended to back up their files as soon as possible.

Some things worth saving include job applications, writing assignments, resumes and presentations. Consider reviewing your Google Drive files to identify any important documents you may need in the future or have forgotten about.

For any questions or concerns about backing up your files, contact or visit University Information Technology Services (UITS).
