The time to register for the 2023 spring and summer semesters is quickly approaching.
Advising sign-ups began on Oct. 12, allowing students to register for a meeting to discuss their degree path and courses with their adviser. These advising sessions will begin on Oct. 24.
Students are required to meet with an adviser prior to registering for courses. An advising hold is placed on all student accounts and can only be removed after their meeting.
To register for meetings with advisers, students should utilize the Student Appointment Scheduler on One.IU.edu. These meetings can be held via Zoom meetings or in person.
Academic advising appointments are open until Nov. 11, and continuing student enrollment opens on Oct. 31. Open enrollment begins on Nov. 4. After Nov. 11, the university will require an explanation for students who are not yet registered for classes.
Students should prepare a tentative list of classes they are interested in taking and should bring their list while meeting with their adviser.
