Titans Feeding Titans, the food pantry on IU South Bend’s campus, is here to provide a variety of perishable and non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products, household products and even some pet products to all students, staff and faculty on campus.

The food pantry is in the Fine Arts building located in room 111.

“Due to the varying schedules of our student and staff volunteers, the days/hours of operation vary weekly,” Titans Feeding Titans coordinators stated in their FAQ flyer.

Due to the variation of hours, the coordinators of the pantry post the days and hours of operation on their Facebook page, Titans Feeding Titans, every Monday by 10 a.m. Additionally, the hours and days of operation are included in the Daily Titan every Monday.

Titans Feeding Titans is actively seeking volunteers and can work with faculty or staff sponsors to provide credit for students in need of service hours for a club or organization.

Throughout the semester the pantry hosts theme-specific events which are announced via Facebook and the Daily Titan. The next event is dedicated to National Sausage Pizza Day and will be held on Oct. 11. A time has not yet been determined.

If you are interested in donating to the pantry, there is a bin located outside of the pantry that is checked daily. Items that can be donated include perishable and non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products, household products and pet products.

When visiting the pantry, students should be sure to bring their crimson card! There are limits on what students can take monthly, as well as per visit. However, there are volunteers available in the pantry to help navigate you through the process.

Anyone affiliated with the campus, regardless of financial need or whether they live on campus, can utilize the pantry.
