IU South Bend’s Career Services will be hosting a Coffee, Cider, Chocolate & Careers event on Wed. Sept 7.

Students are encouraged to come out and enjoy a warm drink while exploring their potential career opportunities. The event will be held in the gateway area, near room 114 of the Administration Building

Students will have the opportunity to meet, greet and chit chat with the staff beginning at 10 a.m. and then again at noon.

There will be a number of services provided, including career counseling and assessments, resume and cover letter reviews, job search advice and much more.

“This meeting will open the door to allowing us to get to know you, the student, better as an individual and prospective candidate for the perfect job. And, it’s also a way to build relationships with students and the community,” Kim Moore, director of the IU South Bend Career Services, said.

Students are encouraged to come out, bring lots of questions along with a resume, and get a profile that’s built for success.

For students unable to attend this first go round, don’t fret; there will be other dates to attend, as this will be held once a month until further notice.

For more information on future dates, contact the Career Services Office directly at (574) 520-4425, send an email to sbcareer@iusb.edu or stop by Admin Building room 104.
