IU South Bend’s River Crossing Housing applications are now open for the 2022-23 school year.
Students interested in living in campus housing can apply through the form on the housing website, housing.iusb.edu. Housing is available for students of all years, with priority being given to previous residents of River Crossing.
Students who currently live in River Crossing can attend a pick-your-space event on April 20 where they can look at available apartment spaces and choose which they would like to live in next semester. During the event, they will also be able to fill out and turn in their housing contracts. The $200 deposit will not be required for returning residents.
Fall 2022 juniors, seniors and graduate students can join in the pick-your-space opportunity at 7 p.m. while sophomores and second-semester freshmen can join at 8 p.m.. Any returning residents who could not attend during their time slot can come between 9 and 10 p.m.
While incoming residents are not able to look at the spaces to choose where they will live in the upcoming semester, they will still be able to select whether they would rather live in a two or four-person apartment. Their preferences can be marked on their application.
Students interested in living in River Crossing Housing during the summer can also fill out an application by downloading the PDF through the River Crossing website or by picking up a printed copy at the front desk of the River Crossing Community Building.
Housing will be available during both summer sessions. The cost of housing is dependent on the semester, as well as what layout the student chooses to reside in. Students can find the total prices on the applications.
