Hi! My name is Benjamin Ward, and I am one of the newest additions to the Preface team. I am a junior at IU South Bend majoring in communications with a focus in journalism and a minor in music. I am so excited to play a part of this team because my passion is storytelling.
Interests of mine include watching old movies, hanging out with loved ones, and traveling. I am very close with my family and you can often find me spending time with my fiancé. In addition, I highly value my church community at Gospel City in Granger.
I love making music and writing songs. I can always be found humming ideas or making little beats. This interest has led me to minor in music where I have studied composition and theory. Music is so fascinating, and I love sharing new songs.
As far as my writing style goes, my goal is to incorporate every perspective and communicate with love and justice. I am super excited to be working alongside these writers with similar goals and I look forward with eager anticipation to broaden my horizons.
