The IU South Bend Criminal Justice Student Organization is set to host their Valentine’s meeting on Feb. 16.

The belated-Valentine’s gathering will take place in DW 1125 at 4:30 p.m. and is planned to last about an hour.

Club officer information will also be available for students interested in becoming an officer of CJSO. Following the Valentine’s Day theme, those in attendance at the meeting will be able to “speed-date” with the officers.

“One-on-one, officers will explain their position, and members can ask questions about the respective position,” Bela Flores, club promotions officer, said.

There are multiple available positions for those interested in getting involved with the IU South Bend CJSO.

“Whether you are interested in Social Activities Chair, Secretary or if you want to connect directly with the Michiana community as Public Relations Officer, there is a position for you,” the CJSO advertisements state.

Small refreshments will be provided, and a gift basket will be given away to a lucky winner. Information on how to win will be provided at the meeting.

Any students interested in the IU South Bend CJSO are welcome to attend the meeting. Those with questions can reach out to Bela Flores at floresi@iu.edu.
