Indiana University South Bend men and women’s golf wrapped up their season this pass week and are preparing for the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament.

The CCAC tournament will take place on April 22-23 for the women at the Ravisloe Country Club in Homewood, Ill. with Saint Xavier being the host team. IU South Bend women’s golf team will play 36 holes over the course of the two days.

“We are excited to get to conference and compete,” said men’s golf senior Nick Hayden. “We all have a lot of talent and potential that we’re working on accessing it during the tournament. We are really looking to get to the tournament and put up our best scores so far.

The IU South Bend men’s golf team play early the following week on April 26-27 in a 54-hole event over the two days. They will be playing at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. with Trinity Christian being the host school.

“It is great that we got to play a tournament at TPC Deere Run a few weeks ago so I feel that we know the course very well,” commented Hayden. “We have a lot to offer against other teams in our conference and we are ready to bring home some hardware.”

The men’s and women’s golf team have a combined total of seven seniors playing in the event with five for the men and two on the women’s side.
