Nichole VanZant:
Q: What’s your walk-up song?
A: My hitting walk-up is Hypnotize by Biggie Smalls, and my pitching song is I Look Good by Chalie Boy.
Q: What made you choose this song?
A: I chose Hypnotize because I am a big fan of old school hip hop and remember it being one of the first songs of the era that my dad ever showed me. I chose I Look Good because I feel it has a good beat and the lyrics give me a good confidence boost while I’m warming up on the mound,
Emily Anglin:
Q: What’s your walk-up song?
A: Watch Me by The Phantoms.
Q: What made you choose this song?
A: For me, it’s a confidence thing. I let the beginning play where it sounds like a hype up and the words hardly get played due to the length of the intro and my routine to get into the box, but I know the words and play them in my head to get in the right headspace and pump myself up.
Shelby Baker:
Q: What’s your walk-up song?
A: How It’s Done by The Phantoms.
Q: What made you choose this song?
A: It’s important to have a clear mind when hitting and when the song plays, it helps get my mind focused and calm my nerves.

Q: What’s your walk-up song?
A: The Conversation by Hank Williams Jr.
Q: What made you choose this song?
A: It has a good beat, and in the first five seconds it says, “Hank let’s talk about your daddy”, and it gets stuck in your head permanently and I just really like old country.
Kat Bessler:
Q: What’s your walk-up song?
A: The Show Must Go On by Queen
Q: What made you choose this song?
A: My dad, he’s the biggest Queen fan, and my biggest goal in life is to make him proud.
Aly Brickel:
Q: What’s your walk-out song?
A: My walk-out song is Circus by Britney Spears.
Q: What made you choose this song?
A: I chose this song because I felt I could relate to it on a personal level since it’s lyrics mention being a “ringleader” and “all eyes on me in the center of the ring”. This relates to pitching for me because people always watch pitchers and we’re constantly looked at as leaders for our team. This song inspires me and gives me a boost of adrenaline before the hitters step into the box. It really gives me the last extra bit of attitude I need to fuel my intensity.
Coco Grazioli:
Q: What’s your walk-up song?
A: Stuntin’ Like My Daddy by Lil Wayne
Q: What made you choose this song?
A: I wanted something different from my other ones I’ve used, and it has a good beat. Also, it’s my last year and I wanted to dedicate it to my dad.
