William “Bill” Redman takes the vote for St. Joseph County Sheriff. Redman wins as the democratic candidate for the spot. He has served as a South Bend police officer for 24 years. Redman has also served as a school resource officer and has been a prominent leader in the D.A.R.E program.
Throughout his campaign, Redman voiced his major priorities as being to reduce crime, stop opioid abuse through education, improve school safety, and to increase gun control in regard to mental health.
