“New Directions, a concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, in the Campus Auditorium will feature three students as the conductors of the IU South Bend Philharmonic.
Colleen Mahoney, Kendrick Allenson Morris and Julius C. Miller III will take turns conducting the orchestra usually under the direction of lecturer in music Jameson Cooper, who will join the orchestra on violin during the concert.
Those interested in attending can buy tickets in advance for $7 or at the door on the day of the concert for $9, but students can get a ticket for free.
