Preface Report: Student journal extends deadlines, library offers $500 prize award

Students still have a chance to get their research published this semester and submit it to win a prize.
The Undergraduate Research Journal will accept submissions of research essays until Feb. 15, according to a news release in the Daily Titan newsletter.
The Schurz Library awards the Library Prize for Undergraduate Research and $500 “to a student research project that shows outstanding understanding of the research process and the principles of information literacy,” according to a news release.
The library will accept submissions until Feb. 19. To be considered eligible for the prize, the student research project must have been completed during 2015.
