On Sunday, November 8, the Campus Auditorium in Northside hall will be filled with the sounds of young musicians.
The South Bend Youth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Robert Boardman, and the South Bend Youth Concert Orchestra, conducted by Emilie Grondin, join together to bring to life a Nordic musical tour of Scandinavia, according to the press release.
The symphony will perform works from Scandinavian artists such as Grieg, Nielsen, Sibelius and Kevin Puts, plus many others. The orchestra will perform alongside guest pianist Justin Bird.
The show will begin at 4 p.m. on Nov. 8. Tickets are $4 in advance and six dollars at the door. Admission is free to IUSB students, faculty and staff with ID.
