Staff Profile: Bobby Cozzie

By: BOBBY COZZIE
Staff Writer

Hi, my name is Bobby Cozzie and I am a new writer for the Preface.
I’m originally from Alabama, and I would describe my childhood as mostly dangerous.
While working for The Preface I anticipate I will be writing primarily sports stories, and I will try my hardest to produce writing that people want to read.
I am a transfer Junior here at IU South Bend where I major in public relations and minor in sustainability. Getting a college degree is my fallback plan in case all of my other goals and ventures in life—stand-up comedian, novelist, screenwriter/director, and celebrity chef—don’t come true, although I work really hard to see that they will.
However, should they all fall short, I will get my bachelor’s here at IUSB and more likely than not pursue a masters and some professional certificates.
If this turns out to be the scenario I’m faced with, then ideally I would become a government lobbyist so that I could make sure my best interests are taken care of. Actually I would lobby for something in the green movement—and by green movement, of course, I mean marijuana.
Right now I’m lobbying to get the public to donate $735 million to me so that I can finally make this sweet “Captain Planet” adaptation that I’ve been working on into a movie.
