Once a year the spotlight shifts from student art to faculty art.
This year artwork by the faculty of the Department of Fine Arts and the Department of Integrated New Media Studies will be on display in the annual Faculty Exhibition August 10 to September 19 in the Art Gallery.
The Faculty Exhibition will feature the varied artwork of the faculty of the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts.
“From the traditional to the unexpected, this exhibition includes artwork in 2D, 3D, and computer art in a variety of media. Participating artists include our full-time, part-time, and emeritus faculty members,” according to a press release from the school.
Faculty will host a reception Thursday, August 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a gallery talk beginning at 6:00 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.
Located in the Education and Arts Building, the Art Gallery is open Monday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
