The Gallery after Dark: Studebaker Style and Innovation

The Studebaker Museum is known for the exhibits and tours throughout the day, but on Thursday, April 16, guests are able to visit the museum after hours to experience the dark side. The History Museum will be opening the exhibit “On the Move: Transportation through the Ages” to the public at 7pm. Guests will be able to enjoy wine and cheese while listening to Archivist, Andrew Beckman, talk about the Studebaker National Museum, the corporation’s famous designs. Reservations are required. The cost is $16 per adult and $14 for members.

Revolution Championship Wrestling Presents: The REVOLUTION Rumble
Live Friday, April 17, 2015; Doors open at 6:30 p.m., Bell-time at 7:00 p.m.
For all the wrestling fans out there, Revolution Championship Wrestling will be having a live match of The Revolution Rumble at the Battell Community Center in Mishawaka on Friday, April 17. Matches will include Triple threat tag team match, singles match, tag team title match, women’s match, and the infamous 20 man revolution rumble. Along with the wrestling matches there will be appearances by several Revolution Championship Wrestling wrestlers. Tickets can be purchased at the door and will cost $10 for adults, $5 for kids (5-12), and children four and under are free.

Bark for Life of LaPorte County

A canine event to fight cancer will be held at Creek Ridge County Park in Michigan City on Saturday, April 18. Canines and their owners will be able to raise money to fight cancer and have fun doing it. There will be plenty of activities and ceremonies going on throughout the day for dog owners and their pets. Registration begins at 9 a.m.. Opening ceremonies will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a walk and several activities until 3 p.m..

Goodwill “Fill-A-Truck” Donation Drive
Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Goodwill will be requesting donations for their annual “Fill-A-Truck” Donation Drive at their Grape Road Retail Store in Mishawaka on Saturday, April 18. The annual events brings in several donations and goods to Goodwill which then in turn gives back to the community. A majority of the proceeds from the donation drive helps people in need of finding jobs in our community and allows people a new turn on life. Goodwill will be accepting donations of clothing, books, household items and much more. Donors will receive a discount shopping coupon and a tax receipt.

Come join reporter and editor, Thom Forbes, at the Windsor Park Conference Center in Mishawaka on Tuesday, April 21, for a ride through the forever changing world of advertising. Forbes will take visitors on a journey through advertising, where it started and where it is now. Forbes has had years of experience in the journalism world and has seen advertising change before his very eyes. This event is said to be like no other event in the Michiana area. Seating is limited, so make sure to get your seat before they fill up.
