In celebration of the Bard’s 450th birthday, the IU South Bend Theatre and Dance Company presented this year’s children’s theater show as a family-friendly adaptation of Shakespeare’s beloved comedy “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” on Saturday, Feb. 8.
The company gave two public performances in the Northside Hall’s Campus Auditorium. Children had a chance to meet the actors and receive autographs after each public performance.
The play was also performed for thousands of area students in the weeks before and after the public performance.
