Bizarre Coterie at The State
Just in time for Halloween

On Saturday, Oct. 19, beginning at 6 p.m. The State Theater in South Bend will host a truly strange art experience featuring bands, hypnotism show, fire breathers, Rocky Horror shadow cast, photography, paintings, and more. King Lear
IUSB theatre

Experience the tale of King Lear and his three daughters as they struggle with greed, dishonesty and insanity. The performance will begin on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m. at the IU South Bend Northside Hall Campus Auditorium with performances also Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Mystery at the Mansion
Murder and mayhem

Based on the true story of Belle Gunness, a woman accused of the untimely deaths of several men in the 1900s, “Murder and Mayhem” recounts details of the crimes and the mysterious disappearance of the alleged murderess. Costumed performers in the Oliver Mansion portray characters related to the story, and one of them has aided Belle in her escape. The murder mystery will be held at the Center for History on Friday, Oct. 18, beginning at 5:15 p.m. for more information call 574-235-9664.

Say Yes to the Dress

Randy Fenoli of TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” will be giving brides tips on selecting the perfect dress at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Century Bride 2013 at Century Center South Bend.
