Music Faculty Recital
Full and part-time faculty perform
There will be an IU South Bend full and part-time faculty recital on Friday, Sept. 20 at the IUSB campus auditorium. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. Students and children are free with valid student ID. Adult tickets bought in advance are $7 and $9 at the door. Murder Mystery Dinner
The Drop Comedy Club
On Friday, Sept. 20 The Drop Comedy Club in South Bend will be hosting a murder mystery dinner beginning at 7 p.m. Individual tickets are $20 and $35 for couples and dinner is included. The event is for the 18 and older crowd. For more information call 574-276-8313.
Rum Village Family Fun Fair

The annual Rum Village family fun fair will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Rum Village in South Bend. The event will have free McDonald’s orange drinks and free Krispy Crème doughnuts while supplies last. There will also be pumpkin decorating, pie eating contest, Bounce-A-Rama, climbing wall, and a petting zoo. Admission is free but some food concessions and activities may require a small charge. Euclid Quartet
String quartet to perform at IU South Bend
The critically-acclaimed string quartet will perform at the IU South Bend Northside Campus Auditorium on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 4 p.m. The group will present a program of Spanish impressionist Joaquin Turina’s “The Bullfighter’s Prayer.” Beethoven’s String Quartet in G major and String Quartet No. 6 by George Rochberg will also be performed. Tickets are $10 in advanced and $12 at the door. Seniors tickets are $7 at the door and $9 at the door. Students and children are free and students must present a valid ID.
