IU Bloomington’s legendary Little 500 race and accompanying binge-drinking and concert-filled week (sometimes referred to as Little 5) is coming up. After scouring the internet for possible performers for the concert portion of the week, I couldn’t find any. By this time last year, the concert performers were already announced.

As of now, Twitter is swarming with rumors, but that is common. I’ve seen rumors of Maroon 5, 2 Chainz and Drake performing—that doesn’t mean anything, considering last year the rumored acts on twitter were Rihanna and Kanye West, and that definitely didn’t happen.

What I did find, though, is a solid event that will be happening during Little 500. According to the Little 500 Concerts Facebook page, Life in Color, formerly known as Dayglow, is a confirmed act.

Life in Color is a huge, probably glowstick-infested paint party. According to their website, it’s an event where people stand together in a concert-like setting while they’re sprayed with paint. There is no word yet on who will be performing at the event, if anyone.

Tickets for the Life in Color event went on sale Feb. 11, and the event is on April 19. These are seemingly the only details available.

Since I always hear people on IUSB’s campus talking about taking trips down to Bloomington for Little 5, I intend to update when details become available. Until then, please do not embarrass yourself by tweeting “OMG! MAROON 5 AT LITTLE 5! ADAM LEVINE IS SO HOT!” like so many giddy girls already have.
