Hello! My name is Arin (any pronouns), I have a Garfield tattoo and I create the activities for The Preface. This includes the word search, the sudoku and the crossword. I am a second year student and a psych major with a minor in women and gender studies. My passion has always been in studying the mind and why it is so weird.
In my free time I enjoy printmaking, drawing, watching movies (my favorites are slashers), playing video games (PlayStation), photography (nature and macro), reading (horror and sci-fi), ceramics, watching TV (Scooby Doo is one of my favorites), altering clothes, listening to punk, grunge, hip hop, and goth music (Bikini Kill, Nirvana, MF DOOM, and Diva Destruction), protesting, playing with my cat and complaining.
I’ve always enjoyed mental puzzles like crosswords, riddles and brainteasers, which in my opinion goes great with my job at The Preface. I think my room describes my mind best: I have a seven-foot animatronic clown that stands above my bed at night along with a mannequin wearing a plague doctor mask that stands in the corner of the room, there is writing all over my walls and about four mirrors that I constantly check.
