Medical Imaging Club hosts fundraiser for study abroad trip

On Feb. 21, IU South Bend’s Medical Imaging Club will host a Panda Express Give-Back Night. The event will benefit the club’s Germany study abroad trip in Oct. 2025. Using the code 9001264 at checkout online or on the Panda Express app will donate 28% of your purchase to the fundraiser.
Undergraduate Research Conference submissions open

This year’s Undergraduate Research Conference will be held in April, with submissions due in late March. All undergraduates can submit an application to present their research in a variety of disciplines. Submissions only require an abstract, not a finished project. BSU plans Evening of Black Excellence

The Black Student Union will host an Evening of Black Excellence on Feb. 27 to celebrate and uplift Black students’ stories in the community. Taking place in the Grill from 5-8 p.m., the event will feature speeches, performances and music from 6-7 p.m. and mingling time before and after the program. Tickets are either $1 or a canned good for students and $15 for the general public. Seating and food are included. Scan the QR code to register for the event.
Nominate an outstanding student employee by Feb. 21

Nominations are open for the Chancellor’s Outstanding Student Employee Award. The award is given to student employees that embody service, excellence and dedication while maintaining academic achievement. Nominees must be enrolled and employed at IU South Bend and have good academic standing. Nominations must also demonstrate how the nominee shows at least three core competencies out of the five staff core competencies (collaboration, customer focus, ensures accountability, instills trust, values differences). Recipients will receive a $300 monetary award and a framed certificate. Scan the QR code to send a nomination by this Friday.
