Don’t forget: campus parking guidelinesBy: Michael SalisburyWebsite Manager
With the start of the new semester in full swing, it’s important to know where it’s okay to park around campus and why. If you have a student pass, make sure that you see the signs that say “ST” . Students get free parking passes but are still required to register their vehicle with the parking office and pick up a hang tag. Because employees and instructors have to pay for their parking passes, avoid parking in the spaces marked by the signs that say “EM”. Most of them are now painted red, but those lines aren’t always visible, especially in the snow. Students may also use the parking garage for free with their pass.
